Location: Shanghai

Hours of duty: Monday – Friday / 09:00-18:00 hrs (also required to perform duties outside of normal working hours, including weekends at times.)

Main Duties & Responsibilities
-The Business Director will be responsible for an initial team of four including Associate Business Director and Business Manager and an office assistant.
-Main function is resources development of the corporate, high net worth individuals and the food and catering segments, which includes building and expanding the existing donor / supporter / volunteer network, planning and executing fundraising events and initiatives,and the Village 127 social enterprise (80% weighing).
-Other anti-discrimination and equal opportunity projects from time to time (10% weighing).
-Preparation of annual budget, monthly reports and administration of legal entities supported by an experienced office assistant (10% weighing).

Compensation Package
Basic salary and attractive incentive scheme and other entitled benefits.

Position Requirements:
-Serves as CHF’s resident representative in the eastern region, and represents CHF at official functions and events.
-At least 8 years fundraising/sales/ program management and implementation experience in two of the three segments of corporate (large or multinational), high net worth individuals or food and catering industry China.
-Excellent communication skills across a wide spectrum of stakeholders including donors, volunteers, partners, sponsors, top management and employees. Previous corporate communications and public relations experience an advantage.
-Established network, knowledge and experience in working with Chinese government officials, state owned companies and corporate decision makers at c-suite level.
-Excellent leadership, interpersonal, people or relationship management skills who can handle a wide spectrum of stakeholders.
-A bi-cultural and bi-lingual team player with the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and multi- nationalities.
-Familiar with Anti-Corrupt Practices Act or the British Bribery Act with high standards of integrity.
-A MBA or post-graduate degree in business, hotel and hospitality, marketing or related fields.
-Computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel; keen internet user.
-Prior HIV/AIDS / Public Health work experience will be an advantage but not a necessity.
